Laura is an artist and performance designer whose work operates as a bridge between art and theatre. Using a mixture of materials and technologies Laura creates visual landscapes echoing the quirks in life, giving life to spaces worlds apart from our own. Laura's research is concerned with the material and sensorial potential of a dramaturgy. Her practice focuses on the model box as a dramaturgical tool for devising, extending the boundaries of collaboration. She thrives within a rehearsal context, developing original approaches to the dramaturgy of texts, scores and movement. Laura holds a Masters Degree in Scenography at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Laura represented the UK at International Design Festival Prague Quadrennial as part of the Staging Places call with her 2018 design for Talking Heads, Leeds Playhouse. This exhibition has transferred to the V&A and is on until March 2020 where you can see examples of her work and videos revealing her design process.
